Short Story 1: Pellet's Phobia
My hamster has a huge fear: cats.
Once, my cat wandered over to the cage, where
Pellet was eating a seed. At first, Pellet didn't mind. Then, the cat put her
face up close to Pellet, to figure out what he was. Pellet noticed and jumped
around everywhere. My mom took the cat out as I tried to calm Pellet down. My
heart was thumping hard.
Of course, now I don't let the cat in my room,
where Pellet is. Now I don't worry about his life anymore. I know he's safe.
Short Story 2: Pellet's
Big Adventure It was late
night. I was about to go and say good night to Pellet, when I noticed he had
broken out of his cage! My family tore up the whole upstairs, just looking
for him.
I searched my brother's room, the bathroom, my
room, my parent's room, and the hallway. I didn't see any sign of him. I saw
my cat and panicked.
"You better not have eaten him!!!" I said.
After a very long search, I finally found him
behind the secretary. He was scared and dusty. My mom pushed him out
with a feather duster, and I embraced him when I finally caught him. Now I
have fixed cage so he doesn't escape.
Poem about Pellet
(This is a poem about my hamster, Pellet, who has about a year left to live.)
Playing in his cage all night,
Sleeping all through day,
Turning this way and that way.
The greatest in the west.
