My name is Rya Gallant and I would lke to tell you about my little girl
Skitles (And yes I spelled Skitles it is pronounced like the candy but spelt
in a other way).
Well she is a amazing hamster, she is friendly she will take to anyone and I
mean anyone. I take her out of her cage to bring her to company without fear
because I know that she will not care who is holding her, she only cares
about running
So....
Back to the story
I am 12 so I don't think at a "Genius" Level yet and so I put a lego ladder
in Skitles cage so she could get in her tube (I used a fish tank) And
without thinking I left home for dinner with my family and come home to
realize that Skitles was gone! I looked in her cage and found out she had
pushed the ladder under a latch in the fish tank and popped it open. Well, I
cried and sulked and my family looked. Well after a while I had just given
up and watched TV with my Mom trying to forget my troubles when I decided
"I must go see if I can find him!" So I go downstairs and the youngest Cat
in the house (We have 2) was in the bathroom sniffing behind the garbage can
I said "That is not right" So I go and move the garbage can and Voila! there
sitting looking right at me is my little girl Skitles. So my cat was just
about to pounce and if I wasn't there to save him he would be toast!
That is my story I guess.
