CocoaIt all started, one
sunny February day, at my house, in my living room, there was a party going on.
My cousins and my two closest friend were there. I, who the party had been
thrown for, was quite bored. So, I decided to take my best and closest, and
truest, most trust worthing friend, who, was a hamster, by the name of Scabbers,
out of her cage. I was letting her crawl on my arm, on my back, then onto my
other arm. So, into the living room I went with her.
"Hey, Cocoa, can I see Scabbers?" asked my dear friend The
Hawk (from HamsterHideout message board). "She is so cute, and big too. Are
you feeding her too much?"
"NO!!!!" I shouted angrily. "She is, a Syrian, teddy-bear
hamster."
So, after about an hour of having to let everyone pet and hold
Scabbers, who was not enjoying it, someone, who will be called The Owl in this
story, suggested we go downstairs. But, there was something wrong... SCABBERS
WAS GONE!!!!
"NO!!!!!!" I yelled searching for her. "Why?! Why did you
leave??!!!"
So, after everyone cleared out and went downstairs, I didn’t
see Scabbers. I was so afraid that Scabbers could of fallen down the steps, or
gotten stepped on, or, even worse... EATEN BY A
CAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OH NO!!! Since I have three EVIL cats,
Elsie, a calm, friendly cat that never hisses, Charlie, a cat that is more of
the liking to torture Scabbers with his claws of DOOM, and then there’s
Gracie, a spazzed cat, who wobbles when she walks because she was born with a
disease.
So, I started to actually think, not think really straight
because my idea wasn’t to bright. I took a bowl of food, and put it in the
center of the living room, and waited for Scabbers to come, but she didn’t...
After almost a half an hour later, I went downstairs to search for Scabbers,
but, wasn’t there either.
To clear and calm my mind, I decided to take part in what
everyone else was doing. But, sadly, I saw Gracie, racing up the steps,
licking her lips. I raced up after her, hoping she would lead me to find
Scabbers. When I got upstairs, I saw Scabbers and Elsie come out from behind
the TV. Relieved, I picked up Scabbers, and put her in her cage, while I gave
Elsie about almost 10 cat treats, while she’s supposed to only get about 3 a
day.
So, thanks to Elsie, Scabbers is... well, not alive, because
she’s on the Rainbow Bridge, but at the time, was alive. So everybody, give a
cheer to Elsie, who is alive!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
