By: Cocoa

One day, there had lived two winter white hamsters. They were treated with care, and their names were Amy and Cream. They always played with each other, until one day, Amy had caught a disease, and Cream had caught too. One cold winter night, they didn’t wake up to play, and frolic through their cage... They... had passed away in their... Gone to the Rainbow Bridge, the most sacred place in the universe....

Amy, who was now at the Rainbow Bridge, was slowly waking up, looked around. The sky was black, with glistening stars and moon. To the left of where Amy was, there was a gray hamster staring at her, by the name... of... Scabbers! She was a beautiful Syrian hamster.

"Hi!" said Scabbers, looking down at Amy.

"Who are you?" asked Amy. "Where am I? Where’s my sister Cream?"

"The question is, who are you?" replied Scabbers dashing around Amy.

"I’m Amy."

"Oh, I see. I’m Scabbers."

"Where am I?"

"The Rainbow Bridge."

"Bridge?"

"Well, actually, were in the Rainbow World. There is a Rainbow Bridge though. It is the most sacred place of all. That is where you find your owner, reunite together, and cross it."

"Oh, do you know where my sister Cream is?"

"No."

Amy sighed, got up, and dashed away from Scabbers. Scabbers, who had not really understood Amy trotted away. While trotting, Scabbers had met up with her friend, Peanut.

"Hi, Peanut..." said Scabbers sadly.

"Hi, what’s wrong with you?" asked Peanut.

"There was a new hamster named Amy," replied Scabbers. "She kept asking me where her sister was. *Sigh* I wish I could’ve helped..."

"Don’t feel bad," said Peanut. "It’s..."

Just then, Peanut was interrupted by a huge flash of light, coming from where the Rainbow Bridge was.

"What was that?" asked Peanut, a little worried.

"The Rainbow Bridge!" replied Scabbers. "We have to go!"

Scabbers and Peanut set off, in the direction of the Rainbow Bridge. Meanwhile, Cream was going insane because she couldn’t find Amy. She started doing back flips, front flips, and running in circles. A nearby hamster named Lavender was watching her.

"Ahem, but what exactly are you doing?" asked Lavender.

"Crazy, *Twitch* can’t find *Twitch* sister," replied Cream.

"What is your sister’s name?" asked Lavender.

"Amy," answered Cream.

"What’s your name?" asked Lavender.

"Cream."

"Ok, I’m sure we can find your sister."

Lavender and Cream started dashing around, and stopping time to time to eat the grass. But in the meantime, Scabbers and Peanut were panicking because, the Rainbow Bridge was losing it’s colors. It was turning black, gray, and white. It was then know as "The Evil Grayscale Bridge."

"What do we do, what do we do??" asked Peanut worried.

"I don’t know!" replied Scabbers.

Just then, Scabbers remember a legend she heard once about the Rainbow Bridge. She remembered being told that if tears of any kind but the tears from happiness and joy were made, destruction would be reeked upon the Rainbow Bridge. So, she told Peanut of the tale.

"Okay, so what do we do now?" asked Peanut.

"We have to go find Amy!" replied Scabbers.

So, they set off to find Amy, but couldn’t find her. In the meantime, the two bumped into Lavender and Cream

"*Sniff* *Sniff* You have the scent of my sister!" said Cream. "Where is she?!"

"I don’t know, but I saw her awhile ago," answered Scabbers.

"Let’s go then!" replied Peanut.

"We don’t know where she is!" yelled Lavender.

"Fine, let’s just keep dashing around until we find Amy," replied Scabbers.

So, they dashed around, looking everywhere, calling Amy’s name. They must’ve spend and hour searching fo her.

"Scabbers... I’m tired..." said Cream falling to the ground.

"Me too..." added Lavender.

"Hamsters are meant to run, but not this much..." said Peanut.

"Okay, we’ll take break..." replied Scabbers.

They fell to ground, and rested, but Cream and Lavender fell asleep. Scabbers and Peanut just then heard a noise coming from behind them. They looked, and saw Amy, crying over a small pond. Scabbers got up, and raced over to her.

"Hi, again!" said Scabbers.

"What do you want from my life?" asked Amy angrily.

"Now aren’t you in a pickle..." replied Scabbers. "Well, I happen to have to have something you are destine for."

"What are you talking about?" asked Amy.

"Come..."

Scabbers led Amy over to Cream. Cream and Lavender awoke.

"Finally!" said Amy. "I found you!"

"Yay!" replied Cream. "I though I’d never see you again!"

"Well, isn’t that nice Peanut?" asked Scabbers. "I’m glad they’re finally back together..."

"Yeah, I guess so," answered Peanut.

"I just wish..." began Scabbers.

"Wish what?" asked Lavender.

"That, I would soon see my owner again..." answered Scabbers.

"Don’t worry, you will," replied Peanut.

Suddenly, there was a huge flash of colorful, twinkling light. The Rainbow Bridge was no longer evil and colorless. Peace was restored upon the hamsters in the Rainbow World.

THE END!!!!!
