More hamsters!
On 8/11/00, exactly 18 days after Miffy's first litter, she gave birth again!
That could only mean that she mated with Waffie the very same day she had given
birth.

Gosh, aren't hamsters productive?
Worried that they will mate again and thereby taking a toil on Miffy's
health, I decided to separate Miffy and Waffie.
I gave away all the babies from the first and second batch, and adopted
Wiffy (left in picture) and Buffy (center) to keep Miffy company. Wiffy
takes after Waffie, and Buffy looks like Miffy. And they are the sweetest
babies!

The first lesson Miffy have to teach her babies is how to wheel.

But of course, wheeling comes instinctively to them.

Wiffy the Hooligan (her nickname for being such a naughty one) goes for a little
one-to-one practise with her mummy.

Wiffy, being young, does not know how to pose for the camera. But the veteran
Miffy's head managed to pop out from the side of the picture.
